2012 O'pen Bic UnRegatta

The Columbia Gorge Racing Association is pleased to welcome O'pen Bic sailors and their families to the Columbia River Gorge for the 2012 O'pen Bic UnRegatta. This regatta is strictly a fun event for O'pen Bic sailors of all ages and skill levels. Non-traditional courses (speed slalom, o'pen cross, etc.) and freestyle contests are designed for maximum fun and entertainment. Warning to competitors: you will get wet (and love it!).

Bic sailors looking for a chance to tune up for the regatta should consider coming to the Gorge a few days early for the O'pen Bic Performance Racing Camp, August 23-24. It's a great opportunity to sharpen up your boat speed and boat handling skills for the big regatta.

Registration & Fees

Regatta Fee: $15 includes all racing activities, lunch, prizes and refreshments.

Boats: Bring your own O'pen Bic or arrange a charter from your local program. Limited charters are available from CGRA for our program participants. Dontact Dave Cannard at davec@cgra.org to arrange a charter.

Cascade Locks is located in the heart of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, 45 minutes east of Portland International Airport on Interstate 84. Cascade Locks and surrounding communities have a wide range of accommodations from camping to four-star resort hotels (see visitor information).
