2012 Skiff Regatta
29er US National Championship 49er US National Championship
August 10-12, 2012
The Columbia Gorge Racing Association is pleased to welcome the
skiff classes back to the Gorge. This year's Skiff Regatta will feature
the US National Championships for the 29er and 49er classes. Rounding out
the fleets will be the I-14 and 29erXX classes. For official information about
the regatta, please see the Notice of Race. Eligibility
The Regatta is open to the following classes 29er, 49er, 29erXX and I-14.
The 29er and 49er US National Championships are open to all boats of the 29er
and 49er class that meet the obligations of the Class Rules and the governing National
Authority.
Venue
The Columbia River Gorge at Cascade Locks, Oregon
Regatta Format
Courses will be standard
windward-leeward as specified in the Sailing Instructions (available at
registration). A minimum of 3 races must be completed to constitute a regatta.
When 5 or more races are completed, sailors may discard their worst score. When
10 or more races are completed, sailors may discard their worst two scores.
Fees
Entry Fee: $135.00 includes refreshments after racing
each race day, a barbecue on Saturday night, and a regatta souvenir. US SAILING
members receive a $5 discount. CGRA
Intermediate and Pro members receive a $5.00 discount.
Late registration fee: $155.00 after July 23, 2012

Cascade Locks is located in the
heart of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, 45 minutes east of Portland
International Airport on Interstate 84. Cascade Locks and surrounding
