Saturday was a beautiful day, the sun
shining and there was a west wind that remained fairly constant at 12 mph until
evening.
Races started about 11am and ended about 5pm so we were able to complete
8 races. Afterward, everyone joined
in for a BBQ of hamburgers, garden burgers, potato salad, and watermelon.
There was plenty of food so no one went away hungry.
Sunday morning at 5am, the wind came up
from the east and began to blow about 25 mph.
Races started at 11am with 7 of the 9 registered boats and ended at 3pm with
only 4 boats left. Four races were
sailed.
