Welcome to Cascade Locks, Oregon, home to the CGRA.
Located in the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge, Cascade Locks is
approximately 45 minutes east of Portland and 20 minutes west of Hood River.
The Cascade Locks Marine Park serves as the meeting and launching point
for most regattas, and racing takes place in the waters immediately to the east.
The Marine Park is a public park and CGRA participants are guests of the Port of
Cascade Locks.
The Columbia River Gorge is known throughout the world as a premier
windsurfing venue, and is quickly becoming famous for its sailing conditions.
Consistent wind, warm water, and a spectacular setting make sailing here a
treat. Beyond the excellent sailing conditions, Cascade Locks is also
conveniently located near many superb vacation destinations and off-the-water
activities.
Camping
Marine Park camp ground. Camping is
available to regatta participants at the Marine Park. Availability is on a
first come first serve basis.
- Cost: $15/night, $25/night for hook up sites
- Number of spaces: 16 with overflow spaces available for regattas
- For use for both tents and RV's
- Hook ups: Water and Electricity at 12 sites
- 12 FT clearance into Marine Park
- Dumpsite is located next to the campground
- Showers are located at the campground
